By: Laura Mpoka  A tragic incident unfolded in Area 36 on the evening of October 29, when a domestic dispute ended with the death of a man allegedly beaten by his teenage son while defending his mother. According to multiple neighbors interviewed, the 35-year-old husband arrived home late and visibly intoxicated around 7:30 PM. Eyewitnesses reported that shortly after entering his house,  Banda began physically assaulting his wife, continuing a pattern of violent behavior fueled by alcohol. Residents say this was not the first time the husband, apparently frustrated from work, had unleashed his anger on Susan. In a confrontation that escalated quickly, the couple’s son Chimwemwe, aged 16, intervened to protect his mother. Sources close to the scene indicate that in the struggle, the man suffered fatal injuries. The boy fled the home the following morning and has yet to be located. Masquerade Manslaughter

Police in area 36 Lilongwe have found a dead body rapped in a black plastic bag in malangalanga forest three days ago. In the same alignment of days Samuel Banda 34 years old was reported missing at the community police station. During my investigation I uncovered a web of deceit and corruption. According to eyewitnesses, Chief kasamba of katantha area had been suspected of ordering the man's murder. Banda, had been missing for three days before his body was discovered in the forest. The police initially reported that the man had been killed by armed robbers, but our investigation revealed a different story. Sources close to the scene told me that the kasamba had a motive for the murder. Banda had  been having an affair with the chief's wife, and the chief had been seeking revenge. Kasamba had  hired masquerades to kill the man and then blamed it on armed robbers. I spoke to several people who claimed to have seen the masquerades in the area around the time of the murder. They ...

Wena, who joined the club in 1997, has been an integral part of the team's operations for over two decades. The decision to fire Wena comes as a surprise to many, with some speculating about the reasons behind this move. Although the club has not officially commented on the matter, it is understood that Wena will not be able to access his January salary, despite players and other officials being paid last week. During his tenure with Wanderers, Wena worked with notable coaches, including Jack Chamangwana, Late Davie Mpesi, and Late Eddie Ng'onamo. He also collaborated with star players like Frank Mtawali, Walter Nyamilandu, and Gift Zakazaka.
