MAN ON THE RUN FOR THEFT
By Laura Mpoka A shocking incident of theft has unfolded in a local family residing in Blantyre bangwe. A man, who hadn't been in touch with his niece for many years due to her father's abandonment of the family, appeared out of the blue. Frank Chibanga asked his sister-in-law Ruth Mphero for his niece's phone number, claiming he wanted to check in on her. The next day, he called Chifuniro Adamson the niece, asking where she was and stating that he was just checking on her. The following day, he visited her, asking to borrow her phone, claiming his was switched off and he needed to call someone about a contract. After making the call, he excused himself, saying he had to go to the market to meet the person and would return soon. However, he didn't return the phone and instead sold it to fund his travel to Lilongwe for a job opportunity.
