In 2023 Malawi was hit by an outbreak of cholera, this affected many communities in all the regions. This life threatening experiences has made many Chiefs in Malawi to start awareness program. Chief Kaondo of Kaondo village the area 36 Lilongwe gathered his villagers to teach them how they can implement sanitation in there households. garbage discarded anyhow in Kaondo village In his speech chief Kaondo said people need to be extra careful in how they dispose waste as waste attract diseases like cholera which are very dreadful to human life, he went on to say he is very disappointed in how his people manage their waste.
